Fabric trade show displays are quickly becoming more popular in the world of trade show display.
Similarly to pop-up style displays, tension fabric displays are portable and quick to set-up. They also offer the benefit of being light weight which is becoming more and more important as the cost of shipping increases.
1. “Pillow Case” styleThese fabric trade show displays use metal tubing which is usually press-fit together and then the graphic is stretched over the frame similar to a pillow case and is secured with velcro or zippers, which completely hides the metal structure. These units can be set-up by one person in 10-20 minutes and fit into duffle type carry bag or hard cases similar to pop-up displays.
This style is available in standard table top models and full height 4′, 8′ 10′ and 20′ configurations (curves, straight, serpentine), custom shapes and sizes are also available on request.
In addition to the fabric structures, you can also add accessories such as iPad brackets, shelving and brochure holders.
2. “Extrusion” StyleExtrusion style fabric trade show displays are made from extruded aluminum and the graphic is attached by press-fitting a silicone bead (which is sewn into the fabric) into a slot on the extrusion. The extrusion pieces breakdown into four foot sections for shipping.
This type of fabric display tends to take longer to set-up, but it is capable of holding larger and heavier accessories such as monitors, shelving counters, canopies or header graphics which connect to the extrusion. It is also completely modular and re-configurable.
The aluminum frame is usually left exposed in this type of display. As an alternative to aluminum colour, the frame can also be powder coated to almost any colour imaginable or it can be laminated using standard plastic laminates used for counters and cabinets.
